It has been a pretty busy summer so far.

In June, I had the pleasure of travelling to Valencia, Spain, for a stunning performance of Verdi’s Requiem with the Philharmonia Chorus. It was a wonderful performance and a great experience to work with the Orchestra of Valencia and their conductor Yaron Traub.

Following this, I returned to Rome with the New English Orchestra and Singers to perform in the beautiful Pantheon, which is always a fantastic honour. It was a memorable week, singing everything from highlights of Handel’s Messiah and Charpentier’s Te Deum to spirituals, hymns and even a bit of gospel.

As I write, I have returned from a week in our beautiful capital after taking part in workshops with British Youth Opera. It was an intensive experience and a real learning curve. I also managed to fit in rehearsals with the Philharmonia Chorus and am looking forward to singing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with them at the Royal Albert Hall later in the year.

I am very excited about the next few months, with rehearsals, concerts and my own recital coming up. I am also looking forward to working on new repertoire and doing some recording, so watch this space!
